It was a really nice stay for a weekend. It was in a countryside location, in restaurant-let down by rubbish coffee.

The property was tidy with affable and useful staff. Exceptional and attractive rooms, the views of a lake were great. It had magnificent location short walk to Canterbury, taxi and the garden and terrace. There was a superb bar and brilliant food at the a la carte restaurant.

Definitely would stay here again, you are dope! All the rooms are functional and the staff is super friendly. The venue is placed in a remote position by nature. Plus, this hotel is next to the bar / restaurant, excellent, lovely gardens to stroll around nothing, and Very close to Canterbury on the route to P&Ride. Great to have an a la carte restaurant on the premises...

lack of local transport knowledge and we felt pressured into booking an evening meal, which we did not, and we were virtually ignored afterwards, the female receptionist on checking out was very good , the male receptionist on checking in was not so good.

Absolutely adored my stay! Comfortable bed, character-filled room, and lovely views of the gardens. The dinner was spot on too!
But oh dear, those tiny stairs! I almost took a tumble while trying to reach my room!

Howfield manor is a hidden gem! The period dining room offers excellent meals, and the large fluffy bath towels were a nice touch. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The service was friendly and efficient, enhancing our experience.

Amazing Wedding Venue
Got married here and honestly, the staff was amazing! They were super friendly. The food was delicious, had an evening meal that was just perfect. The only bummer was the parking was a bit tight, but everything else made up for it!
